It’s common knowledge that stamps are a bit more pricey in grocery stores/supermarkets than they are in USPS or your local post office.

However, shopping at Schnucks comes with its own unique experience that’s like no other. So, most people certainly don’t mind the extra dollar or two because of the shopping experience they get at Schnucks.

To get your stamps, all you need to do is to head over to the office supplies aisle. If you ask any of the workers in the area, he’ll lead you to the postage stamps section.

While their website doesn’t include postage stamps, if you contact customer service, they’ll definitely include them in your order.

About Schnucks

Schnucks was first established in St. Louis, Missouri in 1939. Edwin Schnucks started his wholesale meat business. His wife, Anna Schnucks, followed in his footsteps by opening the family’s first retail store – a confectionery.

Soon afterward, each of their 3 children opened their stores.

While all stores were separated on paper, they all operated as one entity when it came to corporate philosophy and advertising.

By 1952, Edwin Schnucks and his two sons incorporated the franchise as Schnuck Markets, Inc. And by the late 1960s, the family was operating 10 stores in the St. Louis area.

More than 40 years later, in 2005, Schnucks started expanding outside the state of Missouri, opening its first store in Iowa.

By 2019, the Schnucks family had about 14,500 employees throughout all five states, and their revenue for that year was 3.1 billion dollars.
