How To Pay With Apple Card At Amazon

However, you need to set up your Apple Card first, even if you have your Apple Pay account. If you don’t have one yet, follow the instructions below: 

  1. On your iOS device, open the Wallet app. 
  2. Then press the + icon found on the upper right corner and choose Apple Card from the drop-down menu. 
  3. Before you continue to the next window, be sure to read the prices, terms and conditions. 
  4. Next, fill out the details and add your legal name, date of birth, email, and phone number.
  5. Once you’ve filled out your information, the app will show you your credit limit, annual percentage charges and fees. 
  6. Your credit card details will only be available after Apple has evaluated and approved your application. If you want a physical card, you can request a complimentary free Titanium Apple card, which will be mailed to you. 

Once you have received your Apple Card details, you can now set it up on Amazon. Here’s how: 

  1. Log in to your Amazon account. If you don’t have yet, create one. 
  2. Once logged in, click on New Payment Method. 
  3. Then, choose Add Card and provide your Apple Card information. 
  4. Save the information and you can start shopping on Amazon. 

Remember to choose to pay with your Apple Card once you’re done adding items to your cart. After every successful transaction, the amount will be automatically deducted from your Apple Pay. Lastly, you can use your Apple Card on both the Amazon website and app.

Apple Pay Alternatives That Amazon Accepts

If you haven’t been approved yet with an Apple Card and need to purchase items on Amazon right away, you can use any credit and debit card including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB.

However, in some cases, you can only use Visa and Mastercard credit cards. If this is the case, the checkout process will inform you they’re the only accepted cards and will ask you to add one of them to continue your transaction. 

Amazon Gift Cards can only be used to purchase qualified items and services on the eCommerce platform and other related sites provided in the gift card’s terms and conditions. Unfortunately, you can’t use this gift card as a payment method to place an order using Amazon Pay.
